When the club talks about the many,
many week-long tours we’ve done in our lives, we always
talk about how great it has
been to meet other cyclists on
trips across Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah
and, of course, Montana. Biking to
us is about fun and socializing with
other cyclists. While we all will go on many solo rides
as we get ready for a big event, or
just ride alone for the sheer
solitude it provides, there is nothing as fun to us as
getting together with a group of cyclists to ride
and discuss the joys of biking.
During this year, we hope to bring more of these types
of cycling events to GVBC.
GVBC is about all cycling
so we are excited to have a number of tours planned for
this summer, to continue the race series,
and to introduce the new mountain
biking arm of the GVBC, the Gallatin Ridge Riders (GRR).
Yes, we tour, we race, we
mountain bike – GVBC is big enough
for all of these, but remember GVBC is your club.
